Get your board. Load up the flux capacitor. Start that DeLorean, Back to the Future: The Musical is here in London, and it’s a wild ride through time you can’t miss.
From the 1985 hit movie with Michael J. Fox and Christopher Lloyd, this fast-paced stage show throws you into a mix of amazing stage work, thrilling tunes, and 1.21 gigawatts of true stage magic. Sing songs you know, like “The Power of Love” and “Johnny B. Goode,” and fall for new ones like “This One’s for the Dreamers.”
It’s 1985. Marty McFly just likes to roll around town. But when Doc Brown, his friend, shows a pumped-up DeLorean that bends time, Marty’s life flips from school to high-stakes fast, sending him to 1955 to meet his young parents. One slip could wipe out his future.
To get back to his own time, Marty must change history with Doc’s help, hitting 88 miles per hour before it’s too late. Interesting, isn’t it? Get set for a crazy, bendy ride full of cool lights by Tim Lutkin, tricks by Chris Fisher, and slick video magic by Finn Ross. And yes, the DeLorean flies.
Back to the Future Musical in London: The Musical comes from the minds of the movie’s makers, Bob Gale and Robert Zemeckis, with great music by Grammy winners Alan Silvestri and Glen Ballard.
