Film Adaptation To Musical

Based on Amanda Brown’s novel and the 2001 film, starring Reese Witherspoon and Jennifer Coolidge, Legally Blonde the musical tells the story of Elle Woods after her boyfriend Warner leaves for Harvard Law School. Deciding to prove herself to her boyfriend and make him fall in love with her again, she enrols at Harvard University, where she eventually learns about her talents.

Direction & Production:

Nikolai Foster directed the Legally Blonde musical, choreographed by Leah Hill, with musical supervision and arrangements by Matt Spencer-Smith. The creative team also features Colin Richmond as set designer, Tom Rogers as costume designer, Ben Cracknell as lighting designer, Adam Fisher as sound designer and Sam Cox as wigs, hair and make-up designer.

Performance Schedule

Legally Blonde The Musical dates are scheduled to run from 22 March to 22 May 2027. This is a strictly limited West End run. Performances are held Monday through Saturday at 7:30 pm, except on Thursday and Saturday, when there is a 2:30 pm matinee. There is no Thursday matinee on 25 March.

Selected access performances will include an audio-described performance on 20 April, a captioned performance on 5 May and a British Sign Language performance on 11 May 2027.

The running time is around 2 hours and 20 minutes, including a 20-minute intermission. The show is recommended for people aged eight and older, while guests below five are not allowed in the auditorium. Every visitor must have valid Legally Blonde The Musical London tickets.

Legally Blonde The Musical ticket prices start from £20, including booking fees, depending on availability. This is the starting price only and may vary according to performances and availability. School rates are also available for Monday to Thursday off-peak shows (except 31 March to 8 April 2027) for £25 for the Upper Circle and £17.50 for the Balcony. 1 free teacher’s ticket will be provided to schools on payment of ten school children tickets and will be free of booking fees.
