About the Theatre

First unveiled to the public in 1905 under the title Waldorf Theatre, this London stage shifted identities more than once prior to landing on Novello Theatre in 2005, honoring composer Ivor Novello. Though its name drifted through time, the spotlight stayed bright inside, where legendary shows like Arsenic and Old Lace found a home alongside cheeky favorites such as No Sex Please, We’re British. Despite shifting eras and titles, one thing held: live theatre thrived within these walls.

Since 2012, Mamma Mia! has held a spot here, building on its long-standing appeal among favorite West End shows.
