Located right on 110 Charing Cross Road, London, WC2H 0JP, you’ll find the Phoenix Theatre standing tall among famous stages. Not far from busy streets, it has held stage after memorable stage. Big shows live here, one after another, season beyond season. Famous plays have grown roots in their halls, thriving show after show. Long runs thrive thanks to loyal crowds drawn by word alone.

About the Theatre

Back in 1930, where an old music hall once stood, a new theatre lit up with Private Lives - the play written by Noël Coward, brought to life by Laurence Olivier. Years after that first show, the building paid tribute by naming its lobby bar after him.

That show stuck around longer than most - Blood Brothers, written by Willy Russell, played for more than two decades. Another moment people remember: the first time Come From Away hit the West End, it started right there.

Seating Plan

The theatre has three levels:

  • Stalls: Very good views
  • Dress Circle: Good overall visibility
  • Grand Circle: Close to the stage, offering an immersive experience

You can watch Stranger Things : The First Shadow here.
